Ivanka Trump surprised by level of viciousness

Ivanka Trump surprised by ‘level of viciousness’
By Rebecca Savransky - 06/12/17 08:02 AM EDT

Ivanka Trump on Monday said she is surprised by the "level of viciousness" she has seen so far during her father's presidency.

"There is a level of viciousness that I was not expecting," she said during an interview on "Fox & Friends" when asked whether it is harder than she thought to focus on the things she wants to do.

"I was not expecting the intensity of this experience but this isn't supposed to be easy."

Trump said her father and his administration "intends to be transformative."

"And we want to do big, bold things and we're looking to change the status quo," she said.

"So I didn't expect it to be easy. I think some of the distractions and some of the ferocity was, I was a little blindsided by at a personal level."

I'm living my life though, trying to be as happy as I can outside of politics; with the nephew that Trumpcare threatens because of his rare disease and with the Muslim friends and coworkers that the Adam Lanza and Dylann Roof Wannabes AKA the "alt-right" want to wage war on.

If anything, I don't think I'm vicious enough.

(Too bad you got tombstoned though. While Ivanka's doing her cutesy rhetoric and victim playing, there really are lives on the line. But hey, you got a President who looks like you, so everything must be all good in the world, right?)

Of course, Ivanka Trump was on Fox so there wouldn't be any real questions. But she should have been asked about things her father has said:

- Questioning the birthplace and citizenship of the President of the United States.
- Calling Mexicans rapists and drug dealers
- Mocking disabled people
- Calling his political opponents childish, schoolyard names

The list goes on and on.

Ms. Trump is such a delicate, precious little snowflake that she can't possibly see what a deplorable, despicable her father is.

I'm sure Eva Braun was surprised at the world's response to the big bold things they were trying to do in Germany back then too.

Hey Ivanka, you and your dad are pursuing policies that will kill hundreds of thousands and put at risk the lives of millions more. You are a bigot and a racist and your dad is fighting to take the rights away from millions of Americans.

Your name and your father's are going to forever be synonymous with tyranny and shame.

“You know, it really doesn’t matter what the media write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”

"You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it, you can do anything.

Grab them by the pussy, you can do anything."

"@timjcam: @megynkelly @FrankLuntz @realDonaldTrump Fox viewers give low marks to bimbo @MegynKelly will consider other programs!"

".@ariannahuff is unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man- he made a good decision."

""@ForeverMcIn: @realDonaldTrump how much would it take for you to make out with Rosie O'Donnell?" One trillion, at least!"

Talking about a mother who wanted to pause a hearing to breastfeed her child. "You're disgusting."

"26,000 unreported sexual assults in the military-only 238 convictions. What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?"

Trump talking about Ivanka. "Yeah, she’s really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren’t happily married and, ya know, her father..."

"You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever."

All Trump quotes.

I mean, yes, we lose a dumb fascist and get a Christo-Fascist. There is that.

Of course, there's the chance that Pence goes down with the ship and we get a smart Fascist. Then the country will really get pissed, because Ryan doesn't seem to get the cardinal rule: NEVER mess with senior's benefits.

She must not be paying attention to what her father and his (mis-)Administration are trying to do to this country and its citizens and the embarrassing things her father is saying and doing? I would say that she should not be surprised at the pushback but I'm guessing that she and her father have spent most of their lives not being questioned and/or held accountable for much of anything and probably thought that people would just go along with her father and do what he wants without question.

Victim playing (also known as playing the victim or self-victimization) is the fabrication of victimhood for a variety of reasons such as to justify abuse of others, to manipulate others, a coping strategy or attention seeking. Where a person is known for regular victim playing, the person may be referred to as a professional victim.
