Priebus: "I've got one foot on a banana peel and another out the door"

Trump gives Priebus until July 4th to clean up White House
The president has threatened to oust his chief of staff if major changes are not made, but many are skeptical he’ll follow through.

President Donald Trump has set a deadline of July 4 for a shakeup of the White House that could include removing Reince Priebus as his chief of staff, according to two administration officials and three outside advisers familiar with the matter.

While Trump has set deadlines for staff changes before, only to let them pass without pulling the trigger, the president is under more scrutiny than ever regarding the sprawling Russia investigation, which is intensifying the pressure on his White House team.

Days after his return from his first foreign trip late last month, Trump berated Priebus in the Oval Office in front of his former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and deputy campaign manager David Bossie for the dysfunction in the White House, according to multiple sources familiar with the conversation.

..............

"I'm giving you until July 4," Trump said, according to a person with knowledge of the conversation.

The administration is already dangerously understaffed. They're such a clown outfit, it's no wonder Trump can't fire Priebus... he'd spent months trying to find a competent person to take the spot.

As if Donald Trump would know what a competent administrator looks like

This is one thing he could do that I think many in his own party would not be happy with.

rails, Congressional Repubs accepting anything to continue the move to slash medical care and taxes. They might prefer Priebus there in lieu of another Bannon-like figure - or Corey! - but it's hard to see how dysfuntion could worsen.

As Rachel Maddow pointed out: if you take the vowels out of Reince Priebus's name, you are left with "RNC PR BS."

Since a lot of the shit rethugs pulled happened while Rinse was working his way up the food chain in the party, I don't have any kind of sad for him. The good part is that he is obviously well connected in the organization. Word is that rethugs are frozen in place wondering what to do about tangerine boy. No doubt Rinsie can give them a few ideas if he is publicly humiliated again.
