And now, a word about Trump's "RECORD LEVELS!" for job growth, special Barack Obama edition.

The #FakeNews MSM doesn't report the great economic news since Election Day. #DOW up 16%. #NASDAQ up 19.5%. Drilling & energy sector...

...way up. Regulations way down. 600,000+ new jobs added. Unemployment down to 4.3%. Business and economic enthusiasm way up- record levels!

It's been a while since the 2 scoops thing was "revealed," but it has staying power, and it has layers.

You can VISUALIZE that dinner he had, can't you? I know I can and in VIVID detail.

You can SEE the look on his face as he pounds down his chicken with its EXCLUSIVE dish of "extra sauce," prides himself on eating healthy vegetables as he inhales his salad with his PERSONAL 1000 Island Dressing, and washes it all down with his PRESIDENT-ONLY Diet Coke.

And the whole time, his eyes occasionally slowly scan the room, surveying each diner as they consume their meal, knowing and anticipating that once those plates are empty it will be time for the DESSERT course, and HE knows something that THEY don't...when the plates of rich chocolate cream pie are brought to the table, HE will be the ONLY one to have TWO scoops, because HE is the PRESIDENT, and ONLY PRESIDENTS get TWO scoops.

I just feel a pang in my heart for how much I miss President Obama. tRump is a buffoon, a crass, spoiled brat. Even when he is "being nice", he oozes insincerity. The smile is fake and even when he says something as simple as Welcome Everybody, I just cringe. You know when you meet someone for the first time you have an initial reaction or impression. My impression of tRump was not good and that has not changed. If anything, the more I see of him, the more I learn about him, the less fit for office he seems. I think tRump is just jealous of President Obama and how well liked he was and still is.

It's no accident I didn't address tRump as president. The last election was stolen and misappropriated. I will never, ever call him President.

That's the claim VP Pence recently made.

In reality, CBS Evening News said this week it may create 1,000.

Wolfers' tweet: https://t.co/KWSd8GWp2s

Trump opens with "THE ECONOMY IS STARTING TO COME BACK..."
Here's the data. Decide for yourself. - Justin Wolfers

---------------------------------------------------
Progree sez: The economy may not have completely stalled out (judging from the June 2nd jobs report), but it has slowed down. Only 594,000 more jobs than in January, for an average gain of 148,500/month.

Contrast that to the average job gain in the preceding 12 months: (Jan 2017 minus Jan 2016)/12 = 194,200/month

Non-farm payroll jobs: https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001

And as far as May itself -- Payroll jobs: +138,000 (but considering March and April were revised down by a combined 66,000, there are only a moderately pathetic 72,000 jobs more than there was in the May 5 jobs report)
