Bullying Blows Up In His Face As Legal Threat To Comey Could Lead To Charges Against Trump

Bullying Blows Up In His Face As Legal Threat To Comey Could Lead To Charges Against Trump
By Jason Easley on Sat, Jun 10th, 2017 at 2:17 pm

George W. Bush's ethics lawyer is warning that Trump's threat to legally come after James Comey could result in new charges, including obstruction of justice against the President.

Former Bush ethics lawyer Richard Painter told NBC News:

“The Department of Justice reports to the President of the United States. And the President of the United States is saying, ‘you’re going to be a witness against me? I’m going to open an investigation against you’ — that’s clearly witness intimidation, and that itself is obstruction of justice,” Painter said.

“So they’re going to compound the problem,” he said.

Every solution that Trump comes up with to make himself feel better only serves to add to his troubles. Going after James Comey for an act that wasn’t a crime is a horrible idea. Instead of moving on after Comey’s testimony, the President is trying to intensify and personalize the conflict. Trump’s motivation for attacking Comey isn’t to save his presidency, but to punish the former FBI director for testifying before the Senate.

Trump has used bullying and legal threats throughout his entire adult life, but he is in way over his head as president. Donald Trump is getting a hard lesson in the realities of presidential power. If Donald Trump tries to take legal action against James Comey, he will only add fuel to the fire that is burning down his presidency.

If they hit you, you come back at them and hit them ten times harder.
There was another incident involving a woman who he helped out at one time and she later got a good job in banking. He asked her if she could intervene and use her influence to help him get a loan.
For what ever reason, she found that problematic and declined. He was so pissed off, he vowed to ruin her life in any way that he could no matter how long it took. He publically delighted when her marriage fell apart and she eventually came upon hard times. He bragged that he had had a hand in it.
Revenge is ALL to this sick, sadistic fuck. May he eventually get ALL that HE deserves.

And later, Steve Miller made a similar statement, a dare actually, that no one should cross the Predisent.

Comey, thanks to Donald J. Trump, is now a private citizen. He was a private citizen when he testified Thursday and he's a private citizen now, ever since Trump fired him. What the hell does Dump's lawyer think the Justice Dept is going to do...wag its collective finger and say "bad boy"?

James Comey is about 7 steps of Donnie Two Scoops. Which aint hard. Comey knew exactly what Trump would say and do yesterday the day after he (Comey) testified Thursday.

Dude Comey has left bunches of land mines along the way, and Donnie Two Scoops is jumping on each one.

James Comey, it is my belief, wants to put Donnie Two Scoops in jail. He has a helluva motive, and its gonna be fun to watch.

may have worked in business contracts and zoning boards when you've got the deepest pockets in the room
and can make everyone think twice about scrapping with you because you can spend them under the table,
but it's no way to handle criminal or political matters.

Maybe he's trying to flood Bob Mueller with investigative work in the hope he himself (Trump) is too big to fail?

... Trump's subsequent "actions" will actually be worse than the Comey testimony.

Comey stated that he felt intimidated, so Trump decides to prove it by publicly doing just that.

Smooth move Donnie, and tweet thyself into oblivion (or at least out of the White House).
