If by some miracle...

If by some miracle we rid ourselves of the orange menace and his sidekick sooner rather than later --- do we have the legal means to undo the damage he has already done? For starters, can we "unappoint" his hideous cabinet?

getting him to resign too soon would be bad.

In 1.5 years I hope the Dems take the house. Then, if Twitler and Pence are removed, we would have a shot at having President Pelosi...

OTOH, Twitler and his gang of criminals could do great harm in the interveaning 1.5 years.

Right now, the answer would no... no way to avoid great harm even if Twitler resigns tomorrow.

and was confirmed by the Senate; if a president is removed from office that doesn't mean every action he took while in office is automatically undone. However, whoever ends up the president would have the right to appoint their own people. Unfortunately, that person could be Paul Ryan, currently the next in the succession, so whoever he might appoint wouldn't be much of an improvement, if any.

maybe that's why democrats are not saying the I word. It's strategic. In either case only republicans can impeach him and no way in hell he'll resign.
Putin is thoroughly enjoying this show.

A new president could fire them all. "Unappoint" isn't a thing.

get great presidents in the future, but the presidency will now always have been an office into which Republicans have put a moron who can deflect attention from their bad acts. That is now a tactic in the toolbox, and we can't un-know that.

There are other things too: the lack of transparency about the taxes for example. There is precedence. There is precedence for putting enemies of each department at the head of each department.

At the risk of being pedantic, when the Roman emperor's power and prestige began to be watered down, that was the beginning of the fall of the empire.

The presidency will never again be held in the same esteem it had when everyone up to Obama was in office.
