Weve heard it takes a village to raise a child, and a heartwarming spot is using that adage to find foster families in Norway.
The Lunchbox opens on a familiar scene of schoolchildren eating lunch. But one boys lunchbox is empty, so he kills time by wandering the halls and stopping at the water fountain before heading back to his classroom.
...
The spot by ad agency Kitchen in Oslo, Norwaya joint venture of Leo Burnett and Publicisis beautiful and simple, and part of a larger campaign for the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs.
Aimed at recruiting more Norwegian foster homes, the ad portrays the power of community. And its certainly getting its share of attentionto the tune of almost 120 million Facebook views in the seven days since its release.

(12,051 posts)in EVERY, and I mean EVERY, kid's lunchbox. (I'm in the U.S.) No wonder cashiers don't know what a pear, or a zucchini, is when you check out. They've never seen one, much less eaten one, until they got the job.
After two or three generations of trash food, it's no wonder that even most adults eat like this. It's what their tastebuds are accustomed to. Real food tastes weird to them.

(16,938 posts)must be Libtards! You probably think Michelle Obama was doing a good thing with her push for better meals for children.
GAWD, these kids deserve some of Trump's fabulous chocolate cake!
(of course, they'll have to buy a membership to Mar-Lago first, but how could that be a problem?)
(just to be safe: !)

(35,732 posts)Trump says the kids won't eat vegetables and that they are thrown away. We get the students involved in growing the vegetables and guess what....now all of a sudden vegetables are very interesting and don't get thrown away.
That really is a poignant ad. Thank you to the OP for bringing it here.
