Graphic Image: DC Statue of Gen. Lafayette to Be Replaced with Trump Statue
In a fit of pique about failing a handshake test with President Macron of France, President Donald J. Trump has signed an Executive Order calling for the removal of the statue of General Lafayette from Lafayette Square near the White House and its replacement with an existing statue of President Donald J. Trump.
At the signing ceremony for the Executive Order, before displaying his signature, President Trump said, "What have the French ever done for the United States, anyhow? I am making America Great Again, so it's only right that my statue should appear in that park."
