Trump Slated to Resign When Top Goal Is Accomplished
Multiple sources with extensive knowledge of Washington, DC* revealed today that President Donald Trump is planning to resign abruptly after achieving his primary goal as President. That singular goal, it was learned, is to reverse every positive and beneficial action taken by President Barack Obama during his eight years as President. Sources say that Trump believes himself to be close to accomplishing that, and is already making plans to vacate his office and pass it along to whoever is next in the line of succession at the time.
Some political experts tell us that the crowning achievement that may give Trump satisfaction will be the withdrawal of the United States from the Paris Accord and the return of this country to its former high-pollution, fossil-fuel-burning standards. One source inside the White House who cannot be named overheard Trump saying, "Once I get rid of that damned climate change nonsense, I'll have shown that Kenyan Muslim how a real, red-blooded American President acts.
