This happened in Haifa, which is in Israel, not the West Bank.

Police arrest suspected driver in fatal Haifa hit-and-run

Police on Wednesday arrested the suspected driver in a hit-and-run incident a day earlier in the northern city of Haifa in which a 16-year-old girl was killed.

The suspect, a 65-year-old resident of Haifa, was brought before a court for a hearing on the extension of his remand later on Wednesday.

The victim of the incident was named as Nada Adbach, also a Haifa resident.

An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma’an that an "attempted stabbing" attack occurred at the entrance of the Mevo Dotan settlement in the Jenin district, and that the alleged assailant had been injured and was being treated on the scene before being evacuated to a hospital in Israel.
