GOP launches attack on MSNBC's Morning Joe

This story from The Hill is a couple of hours too old for LBN.

The Republican National Committee is offering a blistering take on MSNBC's “Morning Joe,” calling it “the worst case of Trump Derangement Syndrome” in a press release on Wednesday.

The attack was all the more notable given that the morning show, while airing on a liberal network, is helmed by former GOP Rep. Joe Scarborough (Fla.).

“Once a respected forum for intelligent discourse, the program has turned into 3 hours of far-left hysteria, filled with more faux scandal and innuendo than a bad episode of Gossip Girl,” RNC Deputy Communications Director Michael Reed wrote in a release to reporters.

“According to a rough review of this morning’s program, the crew spent the majority of the show discussing misspelled tweets, White House staffing plans, uncorroborated Russia stories, and the supposed horror of President Trump giving his cell phone number out.”

Joe's response:

This is funny stuff. Interesting to see Trump still obsessed with our show. He should get a hobby or new job that keeps him focused.

The party hack's Dear Leader attack of our news coverage is obsequious, slanted and embarrassing. Try that in North Korea or Russia, Comrade

And Joe had several other tweets and retweets ridiculing Trump and the GOP for this.

...as "Bush Derangement Syndrome". People with "BDS" would seize on any little thing to criticize Bush. Y'know, like launching an invasion of Iraq on false pretenses, that his VP was getting money from Halliburton, that his people were botching the occupation, that they were torturing people, that they were just creating a new generation of terrorists, that his policies would balloon he deficit, that financial deregulation would give license to fraud and selfdealimg thus destabilizing the economy, etc.

In other words, BDS sufferers claimed to foresee things that NO ONE could have foreseen. Must have been loonies!

Thanks to Trump their party is in the final stages of total demolition.
They could use their time better than with going on some lame attack.
