This is the conservative playbook (again, from the 80's and 90's) when reality doesn't fit your view, you don't rethink your ideas, you attack reality. That is the purpose of Fox News and all of the followers that came along on the internet.

1. Steps up Administrations misleading attacks on CBOs health reform estimates. See http://www.cbpp.org/blog/cbo-correctly-predicted-historic-coverage-gains-under-aca (CBO Correctly Predicted Historic Coverage Gains Under ACA)
With this prescient conclusion:
2. Impugning -- for no good reason -- the independence of a career, non-political appointee.
3. Attacking an important democratic institution -- it appears to undermine its very purpose:

"It's precisely when a President tries to politically dictate numbers that a truly independent CBO/truly indep econ agencies are needed most."
4. Coming from an Administration that put out a budget with >$7 TRILLION in gimmicks:

"Im not sure people truly appreciate the Madoff-level accounting fraud involved in Trumps budget."
5. & all for v short-term gain. Ignoring CBO estimates wont make the uninsured & sick AHCA will cause disappear:

"Again, it's a whole lot easier to attack CBO in 2017 than explain to someone in '18 or '20 why you voted to take away their health care."

We are definitely on information overload!
