Title 18, United States Code, Section 1001 makes it a crime to: 1) knowingly and willfully; 2) make any materially false, fictitious or fraudulent statement or representation; 3) in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative or judicial branch of the United States.

but now more media are starting to show up. It's gonna be a nightmare for the neighborhood they live in and the secret service when they return on Tuesday and the media descends on them.

It's up to a jury to divine if he had a innocent motive , i.e. forgot. It strains credulity a person would forget he asked a Russian ambassador to set up a secret channel to avoid the gaze of American authorities.
