As the background info on these latest terrorists comes in, we are learning

that at least one of the men had ties to Al Qaeda through his father. Question: With our thorough background checks that we are using before allowing anyone in with a Visa, would we have been able to stop these terrorists from traveling to the U.S.?

I would like to hear that the answer is yes, because we need something to thwart the right-wing nutcases that support Trump's Muslim travel ban. Because you know they are using this attack to support their position.

What the RW want is discrimination based on someone's last name or religion.

contacted the authorities to report that their own son was dangerous. Not sure why the authorities didn't act on that right away.

What I see here is a need for productive and efficient sleuthing. The same procedures that would apply to young men who are getting radicalized by ISIS should also apply to the young men and women in our own country who are getting radicalized in the Nazi and racist circles.

But, it looks like England recognizes that a network was involved and they are being very forceful in bringing them in.

Are nationals of the countries they live in. We shouldn't be asking how to keep people from traveling but how to stop people from our own nations becoming radicalized.

Why would they travel if they can radicalize locals? The GOP answer is deporting citizens or camps.
