The absolute WORST that could be said about the Manchester, England victims...

I just posted in LBN an Alex Jones rant blaming "da lib'ruls" for the bombing.

But this far-right asshole really goes off the deep end.

In past videos he's called for killing gays, even advocating Trump be killed for appointing a gay to his administration.

Theodore Shoebat: Victims Of Manchester Bombing Were Pro-Sodomite ‘Sluts’ And ‘Whores’

By Kyle Mantyla | May 23, 2017 10:59 am

Extremist anti-LGBTQ activist Theodore Shoebat posted a video on his website reacting to the terrorist attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England last night in which 22 people were killed. Shoebat, who was featured in a radically anti-gay documentary in 2015 along with various Religious Right activists and Republican elected officials, declared that he has no sympathy for those who were killed or injured because they are all “sodomites-lovers” and “sluts.”

“I really have no sympathy for these people,” he said. “The people who died, the people who were injured, the people who were scared out of their minds, who ran away [screaming], I really don’t care. The types of people who go to these concerts are the same types of people who are responsible for the degeneracy that you see in society.”

“They go to these concerts dressed up as whores, dressed up as sluts, they’re pro-sodomite, they’re pro-divorce, they’re pro-infidelity,” Shoebat said. “They want evil, they want decay, they want sodomy, they want Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Shoebat then showed photos of “some sodomite lover” who was injured in the bombing as he declared that Ariana Grande “is a nasty, evil woman.”

I hate the far right too, but comparing them to ISIS is kinda silly. ISIS actually ACT on their hate. The far right just vent it online in their echo chambers, or occasionally go march around town with 'God hates fags' signs.

Who needs suicide bombings to pass legislation when one has gerrymandering, voter suppression tactics, purging of voter rolls and Jim Crow laws; which even the most dogmatic, irrational and biased mind must realize is much farther from simple "venting in echoes chambers..." than your narrative allows.

Legislation is far more cost effective than jihad, though their agendas may parallel.

Unless those horrible things said are designed to incite the latter... at which point, it merely becomes 'chicken and egg' rather than creating a false narrative denying a valid equivalency.

I certainly agree that incitement to violence is bad.

My view, though, is that what the terrorist did who killed and injured those people in Manchester is much worse than the crap that this person wrote.

opining that this may have been a deliberate attack against girls and young women, as Grande's concerts are usually attended by girls, young women and gay men.

If this turns out to be a terrorist act specifically targeting young women and gay men, I have to ask: what is the ideological difference between the bomber and Shoebat? The hatred they both have looks awfully alike from where I'm sitting.

I guess it would depend on how closely he follows pop news.

I figured most of her fans were younger teens.

should be checking out the blazing red states of 'Trumpland'. And you should start asking questions about those who adore a twice, soon to be third time, divorced man with 5 kids from his 3 wives. He's also known to have cheated on them and sexually assaulted other women.

Religion in ALL its forms is complicit in creating the environment where these kind of ranting lunatics are granted the same level of deference and respect that a supposedly "sane" adherent to the same "god" is granted.

You cannot have it both ways. Either your "god" is really all good and powerful and at the same time inept to stop people from bastardizing his message...or the truth is recognized at last - NONE OF IT IS TRUE. There is not a problem of people hijacking religions, there is a problem of religions hijacking people. Just because some of the infected are better at controlling their disease it does not make them any less a part of the overall problem.

I am sick to death of these assclown fundamentalists in all religions, but they are merely the carnival barkers. What really needs to happen is a sober evaluation of the supposed 'benefits' of religion versus its known detriments to society and it should be laughed out of existence.

Holy Spirits? Eternal Life? Flying Horses? Talking Snakes? Virgin Births? Global Floods? Infinite Reincarnations? Holy Books? Immutable Truths? Its ALL BULLSHIT and it's too easy to point at the vocal asshats and say "THEY ARE THE PROBLEM!!!" and turn a blind eye to people who believe the exact same things but are more circumspect about it.

Whether its a Christian asshole screaming "KILL THE GAYS!!!" or a Muslim fanatic screaming "Allahu Akbar!!!" or any other adherent murmuring "AMEN!!" under their breath....its all cut from the same cloth, its all cause by the same pathogen - religion.

Edwin Starr's classic "WAR! (what is it good for?)" song needs an update..."Religion! What is it good for? Absolutely NOTHING!!"
