It is true.
I saw the top half of the robot at an comic convention last weekend in Houston.
NASA was there.
The robot had human type fingers.

The robot's head is really cool.

The fingers are like human fingers.
There is a NASA channel on youtube.
The robot is called Robonaut 2.
