This investigation should have been started by him and the danger of of this collusion with a foreign power made public a year ago. Instead it was all kept hush hush, while the TV networks went on and on showing Trump call Hillary "crooked" and that she is unsafe with national security. And then they'd spent the next half hour discussing just how crooked Hillary was with the emails and all.

But he followed his GOP masters and kept it on the down-low, while making sure that there was tidbits of information constantly leaked to the congress and press about the "ongoing" investigation into her emails, including the last one.

He was basically the definition of a stooge and then tossed away when he looked like he was realizing that he made a bad mistake and was going to now do his job.
