Trump Is Not "Fucked" Or Anything Else. GOP & Leadership Will Shield Him.

All the talk about impeachment or conviction is premature. It is so obvious the GOP will let Trump get away with ANYTHING he wants. No matter how batshit crazy or demented Trump gets they will be behind him. He is the key to their agenda and losing Trump will not necessarily mean that Pence will be a good replacement.

Based on what we see from GOP reaction they will resist doing anything against Trump. What happened with he AHCA after all the town halls makes it really clear that no one in the GOP will listen to voters. It is about the party and not the country or well being of anyone but the rich or the chosen ones.

This choice is in front of them right now but they have tax cuts and deregulation at the top of their list. IF it gets the the breaking point - do they bail on their own guy or not?

If enough in congress become concerned about their re-election, I believe they'd drop trump* into a vat of political acid. At least that's my fervent hope.

3. I agree 100% with TheMastersNemesis.

It's party before country (and everything else) with Repubs. I've had a very bad day and my mood has not been lifted by all the "Trump is in BIG trouble" memes. I was especially angry that he resorted to defaming the Obama Administration and the Clintons, again, in his disgusting tweets. This behavior HAS to stop and there has to be a legal recourses.

7. Sadly Congress Is The Only Remedy Right Now. And They Are Not Moving.

Unless something happens to Trump or he resigns there is no other option. You can sense they are circling the wagons in a silent way.
