I lived in Turkey for 15 months, courtesy of the USAF. I'm left-handed. I learned how to do many things with my right hand while in that country. It was the polite thing to do. Why would I want to come off as ignorant and rude?

6. Why? The Saudi regime is awful, but there's no benefit to be obtained

by a gratuitous insult to their culture. We all know Trump is ignorant and boorish, but why encourage him to commit yet another diplomatic faux pas? There are are more constructive ways to deal with the Saudis than that.

The regime literally crucifies a pro democracy protester (after torturing a confession out of him) and yet sits on the UN Human Rights council. There's more outrage against Ms. America for using the term "equalist" than there is for Saudi Arabi.
