Think Long Game
PBO is 55, now, after two terms, we still have him in the game and working on Democratic (big D) ideals. Knowing he is still out there fighting for us makes these days a little easier to deal with for me personally.
Bill Clinton is just now turning 70 and he did two terms and has been out of office for 17 years. He and Hillary have been out there fighting for us for decades.
Some of the names being thrown around for the WH are great people and I have a lot of respect for them, including the current governor of my state Jay Inslee but almost every one of the most quoted names will be 70 or older and have been in politics for longer than most have been alive.
As the example of the best president this nation has every known shows us, we need to focus on raising new Dems up and shepherding new Dems into running for office in their state legislature, governorships and the House and Senate. The WH as well. That is how you win the long game and beat these Idiots.
