so #1) yeah.

#2) The Republicans allowed a traitor to win the white house. They are protecting him from prosecution, they have put their sadistic desires ahead of their pledge to uphold the Constitutional Oath. This could go on all night, so I'll shut up now.

4. We are in a constitutional crisis - because our constitution has no provision

for an election being stolen by a foreign power, which gave us a country "led" by a dearth of any capability at all, protected by a corrupt party that puts their power over the good of the people.

Then there will be no constitutional issue because Trump will be wiping his ass with the Constitution.

9. Yes. But, H20 Man, many people are missing a broader problem that exists with the entire GOP.

I would also be worried about the rule of law under a President Scott Walker. And if Trump is defeated in 2020 then I will be terrified about what someone like Jason Chaffetz would be capable of in 2028.

In a 2 party system, the only distinguishing characteristics between the parties should be policy based...

It is a game played according to the rules of the constitution and universal adherence to the traditional protocols has not heretofore been optional.

This is no longer the case.

We have entered an era where the constitution based processes, protocols, traditions, norms, established procedures, functional independence, and limitations on power have all been set aside.

Arbitrarily Deemed 'no longer applicable'.... 'archaic'... 'obsolete' and 'broken'.

The justification given, for the dismissing of the rules of the game, is that they are obstacles to implementing the POTUS' AGENDA.

Why yes, I agree, the rules & traditional protocols were intended to provide the structure and support necessary for bipartisan governing....
a "governing" structure, which, by its very nature, will serve as an obstacle for any POTUS attempting to IMPOSE his AGENDA upon the people.

So, the reality is that we have 1 of 2 political parties with majority control accross all branches... which, in isolation should not present a problem.

Unfortunately, the collective membership of the majority party has willngly chosen to use their majority power to deconstruct the established constitutional and traditional rules of the game in order to allow the POTUS to IMPOSE his AGENDA upon the people - without question and without the people's consent.

The existence of a Constitutional Crisis is without question... the only question is can we regain control and somehow manage to recover?

11. Yes, we are in a constitutional crisis.

A right wing faction of the Republican Party has seized control of the party. Over time, they have corrupted financial regulations, tax codes, labor laws, etc, to benefit themselves. Their message, altered and tailored to the masses, is successfully broadcast to millions of people via television, radio and the internet. To maintain power, they have manipulated voting districts, established barriers to voter registration and (likely) manipulated electronic voting machines to achieve their desired outcome.
This takeover didn't start with Donald Trump, although his presidency is the end result of decades of malfeasance. I don't think our founding fathers anticipated a well planned, coordinated attack from several different fronts on our democratic principles, designed to crumble our governmental institutions from within.

(2) The synergy of several factors, including a "broken" Congress, and a terrible human being pretending to be president. The Russian bit is key.
