There is not one person solidly on our side who can do one fucking thing about what's going on.

Anything done by a Democrat is really just theater. For example, just today, my Congressman, who I REALLY like, Elijah Cummings, going with John Conyers to demand some information. Again, well intended, but completely impotent as to effect.

These folks fired THE FBI DIRECTOR, for krissakes, because he was getting warm.

We have, effectively, unchecked power in charge of all the levers of power. While the US has been here before - FDR, for example - never, ever, have we had a crew like we have now. To call them malevolent is to be too kind.

I know that Preet Bharara gave his information to NY AG Eric Schneiderman, who has the authority to conduct his own investigation on the state level, free from FederalMeddlers and elves. But it is much more difficult for him to get some of the clandestine info the Feds can get to seal their case. That said, Schneiderman can swear out arrest warrants. Actual arrest warrants.

Funny thing is, the centers of power in the financial world are all housed in . . . wait for it . . . BLUE states. Just by way of example, right here where I live, in Maryland, the state legislature just passed a law authorizing our AG to undertake activities free of the governor's edicts. We have a GOPee governor.

It may well be that, as the national GOPee blocks or fires its way out of federal investigations, the states can act on their own and issue some arrest warrants for sitting federal office holders. Like the NY resident who is current farting into the government's chairs and sofas in the big, white, government housing unit on Pennsylvania Ave. in DC.

These people are acting more and more like cornered rats on a sinking ship, looking for the hawser down to the dock bollards. They will fire ANYBODY who gets close. ANY. BODY.

Maybe the blue states, who supported the first woman president, can save the entire nation.

If not that, then what?

1. This isn't our mess. It's their mess and it will cost them

The longer they allow it to continue, the more it will cost them.

Just hang onto that. Not our mess, not our circus, not our monkeys. And not our job to clean up after the elephants this time.

2. Every single elected Republican is a traitor.

I know it sounds like hyperbole, but there's no other way to say it. By putting party over country, by refusing to stand up to a monster because he will help them cut taxes, it's undeniable.

3. It will be the state AG's that take action... Which, under the circumstances, will yield the best

/ most desirable results.

It will only take a few state RICO Indictments to slow down the current pace of the coup...

It would be lovely if the first few included at least 1 or 2 current Administration members...

That might encourage a few KGOP enablers /accomplices after the fact / useful idiots to locate their spines & have them reinserted...
