Does anyone else see a difference between "no income of any type" and "with few exceptions"?

(146,317 posts)So, Trump did receive income from Russian sources. Good to know. Thanks, Mr. Trump Lawyer. We appreciate the heads up!

(51,311 posts)LOANS----BIGLY--- are why and how the Russkis got ahold of The Donald's short hairs.
LOANS are why Trump is prepared to raid our Treasury and every single solitary federal program and change our tax codes---TO RE-PAY HIS LOANS AND "INTEREST."
And of course there is the neon-lit "with few exceptions." Isn't "few" such a lovely, deliberately-chosen IMPRECISE word? Perhaps Trump's lawyers cannot count with any accuracy? Two? four? Fifty? Five thousand?
What means "few" to Donald Trump?
He is a bought, paid for, indentured servant.
Trump has a lengthy history of bankruptcy.
Real estate markets crashed along with the stock market in 2008-9.
How much money did the Russians loan him to bail him out? And how much does he still owe them? (and yes, if the laundered money went through the Netherlands, we need to know that for the answer to be complete)
etc
If there was no Russian coordination with his campaign, what does he have to worry about in terms of an investigation?
If there is nothing sinister in his tax returns, why not release them?
Actions speak louder than words.

(30,481 posts)That is the big issue. How much is our President in debt to Russian linked corporations/organizations.
Now they have admitted true income. Why even make that statement? These people are f'ing stupid.

(297,275 posts).. lots of exceptions

(10,718 posts)...anyone with a bit of business or wall street experience knows how easy and common it is to shuffle that away out of existence. The statement may be factually correct, but still hide massive dealings; it means nothing without tax returns, paper trails of money transfers, and investigation into shell corporations and so forth.

(5,519 posts)What about his business returns? I believe that's where the Russians would show up, along with any other crap.
His personal returns would characterize his income as coming from his businesses.
His businesses need to be investigated if we are to see the whole truth.
