for McConnell's ability to protect and advance himself. After all, he's a homely, charmless, amoral little weasel who's been trading influence and betraying his constituents for over 30 years while he made his way to the top.

Soulless, but very much not stupid.

I have no admiration for McConnell, only loathing.

He's taken money from every special interest in his own state plus others outside of Kentucky. Why do you think he acts like he doesn't give a shit about his constituents? Because he doesn't need them, he's all for the special interests.

Need proof that he's in on the Russian fix? McConnell sandbagged the Merrick Garland SC appointment for a solid year because he knew the next President would be Republican - even before Trump was their nominee.

What does that tell you? It speaks volumes to me.

So there's that...that's kind of like experience...oh, and conflict of interest y'know, when your daughter heads up the agency set to regulate the family business.

But, It's ok. They're republicans. All good.

nothing will change. The repubs will just continue down this same road. Trump has normalized the outrageous. IMO, the longer this drags out, the less likely we will come back from this.

Without controlling the Senate, what else could we have done? And it seemed like Hillary and Team Blue were doing well up to the very end and we all expected a slightly different outcome than the one we got.
