Do not delay! Contact your district's Democratic Party organization and ask what you can do to help defeat your Representative in 2018. It is not too early to do that. In fact, it's exactly the right time.I urge everyone to focus their attention on their own congressional districts and get to work in replacing Republicans in those districts. Individual efforts in those districts can make a huge difference in outcomes. Get involved. Work to get the job done. No matter where you live, if you are represented in the House by a Republican, the time to get started is right now!

Guess he wants to get re-elected (this is a purple district). Would still never vote for him but sent him a thank you message on his FB page. He's gotten about 1000 comments so far and maybe 1 or 2 objecting to his vote.

I'm sure he would've have had the balls to be the deciding vote.
The other day I got a phone invitation to a phone town hall - This is Brian Fitzpatrick, your independent voice in Congress! Deliberately hiding the fact he's a Repug.

Which surprised me (and his 'moderate' stance surprises me).
His largest constituency is Ultra-Orthodox Jews. I'm guessing a Rabbi spoke out against the bill.
