Ryan is only forced in if both tRump and Pence perish in the same instant or are convicted in the same instant. If one or the other is in office for even a minute longer than the other, then they appoint a VP.

The GOP must not be rewarded by being allowed to appoint Republicons ad infinitum until they slot one in that doesn't get indicted / impeached / convicted / resign.
