Keep in mind that only 25 states have a republican majority in both the state house and state senate AND a repub governor. And keep in mind that apart from Trump, its unlikely that republican elected officials would want to face the prospect of being sued when they shoot off their mouths about Hillary or Obama or whomever the Democrats nominate in future elections.
