"Trump has the intellectual depth of a coat of paint"

That devastating but clearly accurate description of the President is by Charles M. Blow in his column in today’s New York Times,  which has the title Trump's Degradation of Language.

Blow is on fire in this piece.

He begins

One of the more pernicious and insidious effects of the Donald Trump regime may well be the damage he does to language itself.

In the next paragraph Blow tells us

Trumpian language is a thing unto itself: some manner of sophistry peppered with superlatives. It is a way of speech that defies the Reed-Kellogg sentence diagram. It is a jumble of incomplete thoughts stitched together with arrogance and ignorance.

combustion. He's so conflicted, he talks all he says into a muddle and unintelligible, and laughable, all by himself, until what he initially said becomes irrelevant.

To keep whitewashing, misrepresenting and defending the Orange Buffoon. I killed my teevee way back in the RayGun days when I had a tendency to throw things at it and it has remained a non-entity in my household since. I'm curious to search clips of how he's defending Frump's cozying up to evil dictators, or if he even bothers to mention this.
But when I had the unfortunate task of placing my Fox-noise addicted late father in a nursing home a few years back, the stretches of anything resembling truth he accepted as gospel from both blowhards Bill-O and the Hannitary napkin were astounding.
