Trump is poking a rabid dog with a sharp stick

Last edited Sat Apr 29, 2017, 05:56 PM - Edit history (1)

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un is as much of an unaware child as Trump is, and even more dangerous.

Would Kim Jong-Un use his nuclear weapons if he were sufficiently provoked? My guess is that he would use them in a heartbeat if he thought he was about to be attacked and lose his power.

So what is our imbecile president doing? He's provoking him with words and threatening him with military action.

Hopefully, Jong-Un's military advisers have enough influence to stop him from doing anything rash. After all, were he to launch a nuclear missile at South Korea or Japan, retaliation from us would be swift and totally devastating. Put another way, millions of people would die.

Trump is perhaps one of the greatest threats to starting a war (nuclear or otherwise) than we've seen in a very long time. Someone needs to take away his cell phone and tape his mouth closed.

Short of that, congress needs to impeach him (and there are a variety of reasons for doing so). Unless and until this happens, we are teetering on the edge of an abyss. And the long-term consequences are unknown.

On edit: See entry #3 for my update on the two madmen.

is probably unaware of the consequences of his actions. Does he think he's in some kind of "business negotiation?" Who knows?

What we do know is that we have an incompetent, ignorant man in over his head. And he is a deadly threat to all of us, given the power at his fingertips.

And to anyone who voted for him, any blood he causes will also be on your hands.

Let me add this. If Kim Jong-Un is as crazy as we think he is, or if Trump is as crazy as we think he is, this post may not be here long enough for anyone to read it.

On the other hand, playing "chicken" is a hard game that neither of these madmen may fully understand.

In the game they're playing, you've got to be ready to die. And it's possible that neither of them has the balls to do so.

Both are clearly unstable idiots.

The course Jung is on is a bad one. He can not be allowed to continue building more powerful weapons. Obviously Trump will handle it badly but it does need to be confronted.

It is a bad situation one that has been a problem for decades now. It can't just be ignored.

But unfortunately, we don't have a Secretary of State, (no less a president), who can head off a disaster that, for the first time in decades, is in plain view.
