is probably around the amount of US taxpayers money that goes to the tRump organization for each trip to Mar-a-lago. We should really have a monthly accounting of how much he making off of these trips. He should throw in the amount of $$ he makes off the Secret Service in New York as well.

He's a private citizen now and frankly, it's none of our business, especially since no one is screaming about all the bills trump is running up and using his trips and Melania's refusal to live with him as ways to drain some of the US Treasury into his own pocket.

A private citizen who has stated he wants to play an active role in shaping the Democratic Party of the future.
Wall St via DLC type politics is a direction I and many disdain.

Obama getting paid for a speech is a non-issue compared to that.

After the last election, it should be pretty clear that leading Democrats being associated with paid Wall Street speeches is a loser for us. It's not a non-issue.

There's a complaint on another thread about Steve Kornacki going on and on about this, to the exclusion of Trump's manifold conflicts of interest and endemic corruption. Don't we know by now that it's not a level-playing field? We are held to a higher standard of behavior and it's not fair. But it's real.
