(54,437 posts)This doesn't mean Mélenchon supports LePen outright, but it DOES mean he's happier with her as President of France than he would be with Macron.
Mélenchon should just "ferme" his fucking "guele," and then complain AFTER the election about whatever Macron is doing that he disagrees with (presumably everything). At least under Macron he'll still have the RIGHT to complain. With LePen as president, I'm less sanguine about that.
As a former socialist party member, Macron would be far more approachable for dialogue with the left than LePen. Rigid ideology will only put the French left in the dog house at this point. Of course, after their performance in power over the last five years, they can't claim they deserve much better.
