Just my two cents, of course.

Ivy Taylor has been bought and paid for in my opinion. She is up for re-election right now (as the video shown is a face-off with her opponent), and I will obviously be supporting Ron Nirenberg.

I have nothing against Christians, but will having faith in Christ magically make money appear in your bank account?

As I said up post, I consider myself a constantly failing Christian. But MY faith dictates that if I have any extra, that I need to be helping those less fortunate than me. Having prosperity does NOT mean that someone has some kind of special relationship with Christ. I see this flawed argument used over and over by rich Christians. It does not fly with me.

And before I am flamed, my belief is MY choice. Anyone else is free to believe or not believe as he or she deems fit for their own individual life choices. I'm not one of those who can't be friends with others who may not share my same belief system. In fact, I love hearing about diverse beliefs and I think doing that, being open to that, is very important.

The idea that the rich are rich because they are blessed by God is quite common and has been around for centuries...

Totally agree she is a disgrace. I am in San Antonio too!

Will be voting for Ezra Johnson for District 10 city council and Ron Nirenberg for mayor. Both awesome candidates! Also, don't know if you have seen that Jonathan Dilmer guy running for Dist 10 he totally reminds me of Trump. So disgusting.

But she knows where her bread is buttered and cozies up to the right rich people.

I, too, will be voting for Ron. He's currently my District 8 council rep. I'm still undecided about who I'm supporting for his replacement, but I'm leaning toward Valdivia. Early voting is underway and I hope to get there before week's end.

Viva Fiesta!!!!!!!!!!!

To me, that's what separation of church and state actually means! But to think she's "blessed" because God loves her more than others is absolutely bass-awkwards thinking.

And the "God blessed my mother by curing her cancer" people. So, when people actually die from cancer that's because god hates them?

And those little kids get cancer and die because God is angry about our acceptance of gay marriage. Those nice folks at the Westboro Baptist Church told me so.
