Let's see, they aren't going to help with the budget unless the wall is eliminated, and if they don't cooperate the government shuts down on Saturday, which just happens to coincide with Trump's 100 days.

So, we shut down a Republican led Congress. Where is the downside?

2. On the one hand, I hope we do it. But, it will hurt everyday people.

I remember watching an interesting episode of "Deadliest Catch" where they showed one of the crab-boat Captains (Keith) going to Washington and speaking before Congress because they could not get licensed to take their boats out and were about to lose the entire season. Many would lose their homes among other things. Who would have thunk?

That aside, all Government payments stop to people who count on it to stay alive, government services, etc.

3. The Republicans control both houses of congress

That's all the dems have to say. "We can't shut down the Government, even if we wanted too and voted as a single bloc we don't have the votes to force a Government shutdown."

The shitheads will own a shutdown now just like they did the last two times they did it.

4. Sadly, most of the people who will be hurt voted Republican anyway
