He didn't do anything for headlines or for recognition. He tried to do what
his heart and his conscience told him to do. Carter is 180 degrees opposite
from this other asshole we have to contend with now.

Every comparison chart of the Presidents and (now two) pResidents shows trump at the very bottom. Going back to Reagan in some cases, and to Nixon in others. Heck, I even saw one that went as far back as John F. Kennedy - who polled the highest in the First-100-Days derby, if memory serves.

the finest human being to hold the office in my 64 years of life. You can argue about his effectiveness in the office, I mean he honored out treaty obligations so clearly he wasn't with the program. As to his extraordinary character and vision, there is no debate, nobody else even close.

but he is the absolute best ex-President we've ever had and certainly the best I've ever known in my 69 years.
