In his first vote as a Supreme, this paragon of judicial wisdom decided that last night was the night a prisoner from Arkansas' death row should die. Not because last night had any significance. It was about a drug that was about to pass its sell by date. No one considered that the drug makers all objected to their product being part of Arkansas' death row cocktail. Oh no. Just a matter of convenience for the state, so they would avoid having to formulate some other means by which to kill in their citizens' names.
The vote was 4-4. Judge * was the tie breaker.

Yes, I know. The dead guy was convicted of a pretty brutal murder of a defenseless woman. I get that. I am not making a case for him to get leniency. In fact, I think the case for life without parole being a worse punishment is valid. Death is the easy way out.
