The Democratic Party is changing. We can fight it to the very end. But it's going to change anyway.

Let's look at the changes in the Republican Party over the last 6 years before the November election.

Should former Speaker Boehner have adapted more to the Tea Party, figuring change happens? Should he fought more aggressively?

We don't know. We do know that what he tried did not work and he eventually withdrew, leaving the U.S. with a new but not improved Republican Party.

We have a choice. We can influence change for the better, for the worse, or simply accept whatever change appears on our doorstep and let others decide our future and our country's future.
