(51,593 posts)If you click on the link to twitter you can find their DC numbers also. I have found that when you call a rep outside of your district the staffer who takes your call won't validate your opinion unless you are from their particular district and a qualified voter. I get around this by looking up the local address and phone number of the district's public library. They never check it out and it works every time. I have called EVERY senator three times (twice about ACA repeal and once about releasing taxes). It takes a little time and isn't exactly ethical but neither is anything any of THEM do either. This works for House members. The Senate is easier since you don't have as many to call. Try it!

(9,670 posts)Haven't heard a peep from the House or the Senate committees in weeks.
Partisan conduct for acts of possible treason against the USA. That in itself should outrage their constituents.
I guess the media has done its job, dividing the nation and making everything us versus them. America First, my ass. More like Republicans First, Everyone Else Suck It.

(149 posts)....it says the public hearing will be "sometime after" the closed hearings in May. It seems clear there's not an agreed-upon date yet...

(7,077 posts)When the march 28 testimony by Yates was cancelled by Nunes. It's back on, for May 2 - so it may have had the desired effect!
Keep up the pressure!
