It was good, pointing out her misuse of taxpayer dollars, etc.

(129,084 posts)(and I have relatives there but not in that district) but her politicizing of the Komen Foundation should be brought up too.

(129,084 posts)the ending about her being able to "fit right in in Washington"... which is where he wants to go!
The wasting taxpayer dollars is good though, although I know that was an issue with Crispy Creme Christie (using state helicopters to travel to his son's ball games) yet he got re-elected in Jersey that final time anyway.

(94,592 posts)People who care about breast cancer do; the average voter doesn't fall into that category.

(129,084 posts)Komen makes sure that they advertise their events very heavily and as noted elsewhere in this thread, their events correspond to Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) where everything goes "pink" - with pink ribbons, pink lighting on buildings and bridges and in stadiums, and even pro ball players wearing pink somewhere on their uniforms or helmets or sneakers.
Unless you live in a very rural area in GA (which this district is not) with no TV, then their events are well known. The "average voter" that you have manufactured when it comes to women's issues, does not exist. They may not know what the Pew Trust is or what the MacArthur Foundation is, but Komen spends alot of money on advertising and "branding" and any on-the-fence Democrats or Indies in that district need to know her extreme background.
