(7,581 posts)I don't even think the others were in on it, but may have had an inkling later and did nothing. Just like Idiot Pence. I think Trump, Flynn, Manafort, Carter Page, Kuschner were in on it. I'm missing someone. Oh, I'm not sure about Bannon. I don't think they trusted him with this.

Chaffetz? His middle name is Bengahzi.

(33,345 posts)you think she colluded with trump's campaign? with Russian interference?
again: useful idiot.

(33,345 posts)if the former, can you point to any links that support it?

(1,097 posts)She was in the thick of it with Flynn and Putin.
She is every but as evil as either Flynn or Putin.
I sincerely believe that she consciously colluded with the Russians and knew precisely what she was doing. She is a trained physician and is only now putting on a "dumb" act.

(37,748 posts)Is the corollary valid as well: Useful idiot-- objective evidence to support the premise?
maxsolomon
(33,345 posts)made me think she was an idiot.
I simply haven't seen anyone detailing active collusion with Trump's minions by Stein/Greens, and if it exists, I'd like to read about it.

Something like that.
GOP simply doesnt care about our country or democracy, they care about money.

(34,661 posts)There was a story about this and how McConnell killed the idea of going public. Not sure, did it come from Harry Reid's office. It was killed the next day.
Eyeball_Kid
(7,432 posts)If Obama makes a public announcement, McConnell will blame it all on partisan politics and dismiss the allegation.
McConnell wouldn't play ball with an issue of transpolitical importance.
Obama could nonetheless have made the announcement in public, but the GOP would have screamed foul, even though they would have known the issue to be a legal matter that threatened national security, not a political one. So, yes, this one's on McConnell-- and Ryan, for that matter, as Ryan complied with McConnell's threat.
IOW, they all knew what was happening and supported Trump AND Russia.

(7,432 posts)McConnell was insisting on framing the issue as a partisan political one: The Dems were pushing for HRC's election victory by giving the GOP/Trump movement a bad name-- being complicit in allowing foreign interference in the election.
hughee99
(16,113 posts)who will probably never run for any office again, decided to instead play politics with it?
Raster
(20,998 posts)...either knew about tRump*s collusion with Russia, or strongly suspected as such, AND DID NOTHING. In other words: they were willing to sell out our Country to gain political advantage... that political "perfect storm" of complete control of government.

(30,674 posts)And from a long long way back--That's why McConnell held off on Merrick Garland--he knew there would be reason to wait.

(20,998 posts)...last we saw, Comrade McTurtle held a town hall where it was quite apparent the bloom may be off the saggy rose... next we saw a poll that named Senator Comrade McTurtle THE MOST DISLIKED AND UNTRUSTED Senator in the Senate. And finally, now we learn that a Comrade McConnell-led Super PAC took millions from a pro-Putin Ukranian businessman...
I haven't seen Comrade McTurtle's smarmy, saggy face in the news lately... perhaps McTurtle is hiding in his shell? And how about those "gifts" from his wife's Chinese gangsta family???

(2,574 posts)They are ALL Russian agents..poised to sell off anything Gov(taxpayer) owned to the Russian oligarchs & Govt.
This really is Republican Party categorical and systemic treason. And they control all three branches of government. How are these people to be stopped?

(43,176 posts)where Ryan and McConnell wouldn't be seen with Trump, were said to be

orchestrated to me.

(3,823 posts)All of the polls had Hillary winning in a landslide. You would think McConnell would prefer the moderate Garland to anyone a President Clinton would likely have nominated unless he knew something.

And those who were aware knew that the paper trail would be useful as leverage if/when any of the "unknowing" party members ever became problematic.....

(6,916 posts)If Chaffetz was a tool of Russia the whole GOP needs to be torn down. So much time, money, and effort wasted on Chaffetz hearings. And that fool leaked the Comey letter too. If there is a war, the blood of innocents is on Chaffetz.
