The Palmer Report may be old news to some, but I just discovered it a few weeks ago (probably through a link on DU).
http://www.palmerreport.com/
So far, I've been enjoying the site (he's very anti-Trump) and if even half the articles are substantiated, Trump and his cronies should be going away for a very long time. Furthermore, he seems genuinely concerned with with his site's credibility, as evidenced in this article:
http://www.palmerreport.com/politics/heres-a-partial-list-of-the-times-palmer-report-was-early-to-a-story-and-subsequently-vindicated/2358/
A lot of his sources seem sketchy and he seems to be at the very forefront of the rumor mill, but "Real News" has to start somewhere. So what's the consensus on DU? Is this a legitimate news site? In a political era rife with "Fake News", is the Palmer Report tantamount to a Breitbart for the Left?
I'd love to know what y'all think. . .

(56,828 posts)While Palmer may be of questionable accuracy, there is no comparison between the two in terms of nature and tone.

Take everything he says with a whole pillar of salt.

I'll just leave the link, so as not to offend the anti-Palmer folks, and you can judge for yourself.

(6,238 posts)Breitbart is a hate site based on racism and xenophobia. Sensational headlines or speculative articles might be a problem, though in the Internet age I'd argue the headlines are not the hill to die on, however they don't compare to the hate speech spewed by Breitbart. I'm on my phone so apologies for any errors.
