Personal Privilege! Please Read!

I was writing several paragraphs of a well-reasoned and substance-based post regarding Secretary of State Tillerson, the Russian invasion of Crimea, Exxon's relationship to Russia's Gazprom, the unjustified movement to eliminate the sanctions against Russia, and referring to Putin as a pissant, and as I neared the end of the post, it literally disappeared from the screen. Somebody, somewhere did NOT want that post to see the light of day. I'm not a nut case, and I have posted before. This was WEIRD.

3. I will, later. I spent around 45 minutes on it, and I can't do it again right now.

I have enough trouble posting from an ipad. I wouldnt want to try and write anything elaborate from a phone.

Burn your phone immediately and initiate protocol Frigid Speculum.

We'll meet at the safe house (Buffalo Wild Wings near the mall) to plan our next move.

Or your phone just hiccuped and lost your post.

But really, I've never had any problems with this phone. I'm baffled as to why the whole thing just vanished and was unrecoverable. Truly strange.

I use the notepad or Word to work it out and then I paste it into the OP.

It is better to do it on a desktop or laptop computer in a text editor. Once you are satisfied you paste and post. As a side benefit you also have a saved copy of your post.

Never assign to conspiracy until the 3 or 4 try and the black helicopters are above your residence.

As I said above, I suspect I probably accidentally deleted it. It's very likely my own unintentional action that caused this. But I deeply appreciate everybody's helpful insights. Thank you.

18. "a well-reasoned and substance-based post" - when I do those, they sink like stones ("disappear")

But when I commit the occasional erratic, throwaway, off the top-o'-th'-head type, they attract the most personally insulting of my fellow members of the board and I seem to have the talent of drawing out from them the most vociferous emotions in their psyches.

And, quite contrary to my "well-reasoned and substance-based" posts, those flamefests *immediately* accrue hundreds - like, FIVE HUNDRED!1 - Views, meaning that the silent Viewers are being salaciously entertained to see me flayed raw.
