About the Russia/Trump connection...?

If they had a direct connection between "president" Trump and hacking the election, would they come out with it now?

or - wait until they have their ducks in a row?

It is appearing, to me, they have nothing on him directly now - just by the demeanor of Dems involved in investigation. If they nailed him - they would be extremely pent up with nervous energy.

Despite the flaming I took here - I STILL believe the whole deal where Trump accused Obama of tapping Trump Tower - was done for one reason alone - because they DID, of course, discuss the hack (in TT) and they threw that out there with hopes that everyone would say "no way did we tap Trump Tower" - and they all could rest easy. And of course, everyone complied, denying it.

Yes, there is a certain 'value' in continuing with the various house/senate committee investigations...

as they will ultimately uncover enough info. On their fellow KGOP Re-thugs / their MAGA campaign buddies that at some point the Legislative branch will decide to do their duty & actually serve as a "check/ balance" the Executive branch...

But it will be a RICO case that connects the physical, financial, & cyber activities of the main players to the hacking & to russian solicitation & to alfa bank data transfers & to election influencing & laundering of foreign& domestic payoffs through campaign (2016 & 2020) and inaugural contributions ....

And they would want all the duckies in a row. So when or if they make a determination is unknown.

But I keep thinking about flynn, his request for immunity, and the story he "wants' to tell. His lawyers probably think he does have something, but the question is what, and what could they get in return. Trying to think of a list of possibilities that could make a impact and possibly be used for immunity or at least a lightened sentence.


Something that directly ties dipshit to it? Something that ties his family to it? Something that ties more people in to it. Since he is one of the majors I would think it would have to be several smaller fish to even get his sentence lighter. Possible money laundering routes or people involved. Even the possibility of one of dipshit's donors being involved. There are so many possibilities on what angle flynn is going for on his immunity request it boggles the mind.

As to dipshit's saying they tapped trump towers. All that shows is he doesn't know how fisa warrants work. The fbi could be doing surveillance on some person or persons of interest at trump towers, but it wouldn't be "tapping" trump towers. Carter Page comes to mind as one possibility.

are searching for the necessary verification of what they have come to believe is true before publishing, and that's just the media. But they're dropping hints of more to come.

As for the various official investigations, as well as information developed by our various intelligence services outside the official investigations, no doubt those are turning up a LOT of information we are not aware of.

Note that early on, when our intelligence services were under preemptive attack from the Rump administration, leaks from the heads of multiple intelligence services kick-started media coverage and public awareness and forced congressional and FBI investigations. Now they're back to silence as this plays out.

Also note that the media cannot report by law on names/events that are designated secret for reasons of national security. Give the huge scope of the investigations, touching a number of nations, at least dozens of entities, and hundreds of people, it's reasonable to assume that some key elements may be under a media blackout right now.
