Tillerson on tv right now making a case for an invasion into Iran.

"they have the 'potential' of making a nuclear weapon"
"they are a threat to the U.S.and the world"
" Iran spend its treasure and time disrupting peace"

sick of these warmongers

.What message does this send to our allies, mainly the EU.
.Andrea Mitchell said at the conference to Tillerson that Iran has been compliance with the Nuclear deal and they still have sanctions placed upon them. He made some stupid comment like ' they might be doing other stuff'

** In other news...Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Ex-President of Iran, Files to Run Again

Remember him?

In addition to the distraction, taking a portion of the Middle Eastern oil off line will increase oil prices. Thus making the Russian oil more valuable.

threatened to nationalize their oil production because BP didn't want to have to pay for their oil. The CIA overthrew it's first government and had the PM tried and executed over their oil. This action has shaped the last several years of trouble between the two nations.

Now Exxon/Tillerson want to do it again.

Where have we heard all of this before? Hmmmm....?

Besides, didn't Trump (mis-)Administration just recently certify that Iran is compliance with their agreement? Pretty hard to justify starting a war with Iran when they are doing what they are supposed to (i.e. not actually posing a threat to anybody) IMHO, right?

Tillerson would much prefer a war w/ Iran so Exxon can take the oil. He doesn't want a war w/ NK as he doesn't see any personal benefit in that. I can't even believe I'm typing this because it is cynical and pessimistic, but it is our new reality and we are moving so quickly from what I felt was a fairly safe position to the brink of war in the blink of less than 100 days.

WASHINGTON -- The Trump administration has notified Congress that Iran is complying with the terms of the 2015 nuclear deal negotiated by former President Obama, and says the U.S. has extended the sanctions relief given to the Islamic republic in exchange for curbs on its atomic program.

However, in a letter sent late Tuesday to House Speaker Paul Ryan, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said the administration has undertaken a full review of the agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

CNN's Dana Bash said this to Mike Pence the other day: "You know this is real for you? There are estimates that North Korea could have a missile ready that could hit the continental United States -- Seattle -- by 2020. Which is going to be on your watch!"

When she was later asked about him silently staring at her, Dana Bash was giggling about it. I was sickened by her behavior.

When we killed hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians during the idiotic invasion of Iraq, mostly over WMD's that didn't exist, that was barely covered either. Public TV gave it extensive coverage, at least.

T-Rexxon is trying to appear Non-Pro Russian...
by shaking his little saber in Iran's direction...

Since he has to recuse himself from the Exxon Waiver Request to do bid-ness with Rosneft in the Black Sea...
he can indirectly bolster the "validity" of a decision to grant the waiver -- made by some other State dept schmuck-- by appearing to be soooo concerned about Iran..

The very fact that there was a recent determination that Iran is in compliance... means that no matter how much he rattles his little saber...
he will never actually have to follow through...
because someone else will prevent actual action from taking place based on Iran's being 'in Compliance'
