Right-wing radio in Delaware hosts floats the idea of breaking up the U.S.

I have long though that this is the true end game of the American right wing:

One of the regular callers to my local weekday radio show has been telling me for years the answer to my country’s woes is secession. He makes liberals foam at the mouth but if you take a moment to read a few more paragraphs you’ll see “Rick from Lewes” may be ahead of the curve.

Syria being the possible exception this has been a great week for totalitarians. In Washington and elsewhere across the United States the liberals claim they’ve been vindicated and are planning to chair John Roberts across Capitol Hill. When I was a teenager my Grandmother Colley handed me an old worn book. A History of Pyrrhus was the title and it was a surprisingly good read. It’s also why, unlike the lefties I don’t need to look up the meaning of Pyrrhic Victory.

While “Remember Obamacare” may not have the same ring as some historic rallying cries I see tremendous opportunity for liberty loving people and the candidates seeking their votes. Every candidate for House, Senate and President opposed to the march of big government can now attach Obamacare to a weak economy and that’s the positive side of today’s ruling. There’s also a darker outcome increasingly on the horizon and it’s secession.

I think you’re going to be hearing more people in polite society raising the possibility of going our own way. Do you think there are now more fellow American citizens in Arizona this week considering the meaning of sovereignty?

DE will easily be carried by the Obama/Biden ticket. Yes we have our crazies, but they tend to be of the O'Donnell type or worse. Remember O'Donnell lost to Biden in 2008 by overwhelming numbers and he didn't even bother to campaign against her. Also remember that in 2010, the Republicans in DE were crushed again in the face of the Teabagger national win. The vast majority in our little State are quite sane, thank you very much.

and know very much about Delaware.

It's bad enough we have to cover Jersey's news as well as Delaware's too.

Instead of attempting to work with what they've been given,
they wanna take their ball and go somewhere else.
Someplace where they can do what they want,
some place where their 'freedom lovin' ways' can flourish..
someplace truly libertarian...
like Somalia..

respect for the decisions made by women over their bodies and the respect for anyone's preference on who they love and want to pledge their lives to.

I want to be on the side where there is progress on coping with global weirding and development of renewable fuels and clean air and water. I want to be on the side of support for our workers to produce these advancements in our country and be respected and compensated fairly so they can afford the products they make.

I want to be on the side that educates our children through college with no or little cost to our children or their parents. I want to be on the side that elects it's leaders through by comparing their accomplishments, character and ideals not on how many donors give them the most money.

I want to be in the part that lets free enterprise operate within the law and monitor and restrict monopolies. I want to be in the part of the country that recognizes that concentrated wealth does not promote a quality life for it's people or a strong middle class. Wealth is more fulfilling when it is not distanced form helping it's fellow citizens. Paying their fair share would let them travel that distance.

If we do split up the Union, I wish to be on the side where Obama is President and the Bill of Rights is enforced.
