?? After Trump threw the children's autographed hats into the crowd, rather than return them...

Did anyone step in to give the kids a replacement or comfort them in any way? I keep expecting SOMETHING to be said about it, but what little I've seen seems to suggest that this is "normal" and that the Easter Egg roll was a big success.

I'm horrified by this... Did anyone do something for those kids?

that hurt the most vulnerable in our society, and the media's circus like atmosphere covering it like it was another episode of survivor

I don't know exactly what happened with the hat, and the reports don't make it clear, which is wrong, because that in itself acts as a distraction to the real garbage that he and the republicans are perpetuating on the American public.

So, yeah, I think this is horrifying--even for Trump-- to be so cruel.

I know it's Trump but the thought of him terrorizing children at an Easter Egg hunt sounds like it could easily be ripped from a joke out of one of those movies. That's what this whole thing is - a Z grade comedy flick.

He says the hat was caught by the child. The video doesn't show the child actually catching it, but Trump didn't "throw it into the crowd". He gave it a light toss and it came straight down where the kid was. It was somewhat awkward and inappropriately teasing, but to me it looked like was pretending he was going to throw it away, but actually lightly tossed it back to the kid.

Now, if you have several days to listen to me non stop, I can tell you all the things I think Trump has done that are horrifyingly wrong. This just wasn't one of them.

When I first read about it today, I thought he had thrown it out into the crowd, but it was a soft toss. He still should have handed it back to the kid. As far as I'm concerned, it was a total dick move, and he had that damn smirk on his face the whole time.

guy grabs a foul ball at a big league game from a little kid that caught it, you make sure it goes back to the rightful owner.

The other question were the hats taken away from the kids when they got home? I would bet a parent gave the kid a hat to have signed for the parent to keep.
