Is "Donald Trump" the best issue for Democrats in Congressional races?

It seems that we are seeing more and more Republican townhalls where the people in attendance start shouting "Lock him up!", every time his name is brought up? What does that tell us? Donald Trump is not very popular, in my opinion.

I cannot see him becoming more popular in the weeks and months ahead. He is just not a very likeable person. It is very unlikely that he is going to change in the days ahead.

So, my advice would be to tie every single Republican to the policies of Donald Trump. They don't even have to mention his name.

When they are asked, "Did you support Donald Trump's position to get rid of the Affordable Care Act", most of them will answer in the affirmative.

"Do you support Donald Trump's position of giving more taxcuts to the wealthy?" Most of them will answer in the affirmative. Although they will try to cloudy the issue with some nonsense about getting rid of all those terrible "loopholes" when they lower the tax rates. It is still nonsense.

When they are asked, "Do you support Donald Trump not showing the people his tax returns?", most of them will answer in the affirmative? That is not a position that the people share with the Republican Party.

We, the People, have a right to know where Republicans stand on these issues, and they should be required to respond, in my opinion.

Also, the Republican Party, as a whole, should be asked if they have any problems with Donald Trump not abiding by the Constitution, or with his businesses overseas, with countries that may not be an ally of our country, or with borrowing money from very questionable banks, or out-of-bounds associations with the Russians and Vladimir Putin?

They cannot wrap their arms around Donald Trump and kiss his ass, and then pretend they are not close to Donald Trump. They need to take a stand.

Should that be an issue in the next campaign?

Absolutely. Phil Murphy has the nomination on lock down - and he's already running against Trump. My assembly candidates (one seated) - the same.

Depends on the area. Here - it will work.

I don't think a One Size Fits All approach is going to work. I'm a door knocker, canvasser and Indivisible Organizer in my borough/district. Social Justice, Civil Liberty, Civil Rights issues (to include health care) are BIG here.

Trying to put for example - a blue collar stamp in an area where most Trump supporters drive 80K trucks, Beemers, and Audis isn't going to work here. It's not jobs - it was the bigotry and sexism they liked about Trump.
