Can anyone tell me about the National Anthem singer's uniform?

It's been bugging me all day. The woman is wearing a military uniform with a bright red jacket and very bright red lipstick, which I have NEVER seen on any woman in uniform.

I'm sure it's nothing but when I look up "US Military dress uniforms" I see nothing vaguely resembling it. See the video in the article below.

3. Wooden soldiers and Nutcrackers are from a different holiday. At least they tried.

4. Women Marines were required to wear red lipstick while in dress uniform in boot camp.

It matched the cord on our caps. I don't know if that's changed but thinking about it still pisses me off. They actually issued us a small tube of lipstick.

It might not be required anymore but that's probably why she's wearing that shade.

9. Yeah the Corps is extremely sexist.

I know they like to crow about how it isn't tolerated anymore but that's obviously not the case since they just busted a bunch of assholes for sharing nude pictures of women Marines.
