(62,444 posts)The World's Oldest Person dies every couple of months. I suspect there is either some sort of covert group responsible, or else someone a few notches down in rank is trying to take over the title.

(269,034 posts)Sadly she was out of it for at least five years. She lived in England for decades - her best friend from school days lives in Barbados - she fell the day before her 95th birthday (February) and broke her hip. That said she has all her faculties but is now using a walker. We all know that this is the beginning of her end. They were both born the same day but we discovered that my aunt was actually two years older. We thought she was a few years younger but birth certificates don't lie
