Hairs breadth from nuclear war: Kremlin TV says Trump is more dangerous than North Korea

Reuters reported on Monday that Russian officials are losing hope for warming relations with the U.S., citing Trumps missile strike on a Syrian airbase, the massive bomb dropped on Afghanistan and the administrations refusal to halt sanctions related to Crimea.
Dmitry Kiselyov, the popular pro-Kremlin host of Rossiya 1s Vesti Nedeli news program, has been increasingly critical of Trump.
The world is a hairs breadth from nuclear war, Kiselyov warned. War can break out as a result of confrontation between two personalities; Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un. Both are dangerous, but who is more dangerous? Trump is.
According to Kiselyov, Trump is more impulsive and unpredictable than the North Korean leader because he has limited international experience, unpredictability, and a readiness to go to war.

(18,837 posts)YES, Kim Jong-Un is crazy, and he likes to rattle the saber, and he likes to "test-detonate" things, but Trump could break out the nuclear codes and cause some serious damage.
Then what happens?
North Korea retaliates, and we have no idea what that could look like.
Then Russia and China get on board, and we have a much greater concept of their abilities, and we are up to our eyeballs in World War III, the nuclear edition.
I try to not think about this too much. I tell myself that every member of the Military, from the boots on the ground to the people at the top, understands where this road could lead us.
The problem is what happens if the Commander In Chief gives orders? Do they follow them blindly? Do they challenge them? Are they willing to pay the price for saying "no" to Trump, rather than the price that would follow obedience?

(14,313 posts)Putin knows Trump is about to be indicted. This is face-saving ass-covering, nothing more. "We don't really like him!"
