OK, so is there a condition that makes an otherwise high functioning person unable to sense irony?

White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway on Monday suggested that Hillary Clinton and Democratic Party leaders should condemn violence at protests against President Donald Trump(1).

“It’s very disturbing,” Conway said on “Fox and Friends.” “I would love to hear Democratic leaders of the party(2), instead of still talking about the election(3), move forward and help us negotiate(4).”

She then cited Trump’s victory in the electoral college, an upset win the President has touted several times since his inauguration amid his administration’s failure to enact any other big-ticket policy.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/kellyanne-conway-hillary-clinton-democrats-condemn-violence-anti-trump

(1) "Trump says he can’t be sued for violence at his rallies because he won the election"
(2) "House Democrats say they were kicked out of meeting with ICE official"
(3) The third paragraph
(4) "Trump Threatens Health Subsidies to Force Democrats to Bargain", that's what negotiation is to them

What is going on here?

a monster and the world would be a better place if people used the mute button more.

She's doing that thing called taking the main point of the Tax protests, which drew many people in many cities, and twisting the story to make it about violence (of suspicious, planned origin, I might add) at one single protest.

Use the mute button, stanch the flow of bullshit from her mouth.

They are desperate, the KKKons.

And it popped up before in a list of conditions because this isn't the first time I have asked a question about her health.

To those who point out the many characteristics of personality disorders Trump has?
These are just facts that relate to diagnoses.

or of irony or of sarcasm. Sometimes getting a joke depends on hearing the tone of voice, which is why we have the smilies here, to clarify what we actually mean. They are enormously helpful.

Of course, if you're so deaf to all the forms of humor that you just never get it, then it's hopeless. Look at how often something from The Onion or Andy Borowitz or any other parody site is reposted is if serious news.

That's really is all there is to it

Most of them do not get irony

And they don't know hypocrisy, and also do not understand satire
