(24,412 posts)However, this has essentially been the trend in Republican Administrations going back at least through Reagan(?) Administration. If Republicans talk about running Government "like a business," I have to ask, what kind of business puts people in charge of things that they oppose? Nobody appoints CEOs to run corporations they personally oppose or have some interest in weaking/dismantling for their benefit or the benefit of others, right?
